Featured Event: The 2026 UUACO Annual Summer Picnic
The 2026 UUACO Annual Summer Picnic will bring together Ugandans and friends of Uganda from across Colorado for a full day of culture, connection, and community celebration. It will be designed as a relaxed, family-friendly gathering where elders, youth, students, professionals, and new immigrants will all feel at home in one shared space.

The picnic will feature a rich blend of traditional and modern Ugandan elements, with music, dance, and games that will keep both children and adults engaged throughout the day. Guests will share meals that will include Ugandan and international dishes, potluck contributions, and community grilling, creating many informal moments for conversation and new friendships. The atmosphere will encourage people to reconnect with old acquaintances, welcome newcomers, and strengthen the bonds that will continue beyond the event.
